Second Week Activities of BEM KM Fapet Unud Self-Help Village
The Student Family Executive Board (BEM-KM) of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, held activities in the series of Self-Help Village programs, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University 2024, taking place in Tajen Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency (Sunday, 20 October 2024). In the second week of implementation of the Swadaya Village activities, the volunteer team continued a series of programs aimed at improving the welfare of the community and the village environment. The focus of this week's activities is strengthening community capacity in the livestock sector, by holding outreach regarding STS (Three Strata System) and Silage, as well as direct practice in making silage. This activity presented a resource person, namely Dr. Ir. Anak Agung Ayu Sri Trisnadewi, MP. who is a lecturer at Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unud. Activities start at 08.00-09.00 with registration of invited guests, participants and committee. The first material was presented regarding the Three Strata System (STS) and Silage, thereby providing the public with an understanding of the importance of silage as nutritious animal feed. Next is a discussion session and direct practice in making silage. At the end of the event, a closing ceremony was held and certificates were handed over to participants as a sign of participation in this activity as well as a group photo session.
